High Exceptions Lead to Disappointments

Until now, I never realized that prompts I read on a daily basis are considered as a blog. As I continued my blog research, I came upon selected magazines and websites that have caught my eye numerous times before. I viewed blogs that were strictly all pictures, all texts and some that included both. My choice of blog is both. I like to be confirmed about the pictures I am making in my head while reading someone’s blog. I stumbled upon TMZ, which strictly talks about celebrities and drama. Although I am always fascinated with drama, I wish that this blog had more of a personal prospective. In fact, most of the popular blogs that I’ve researched were all very similar to magazines. The blogs would consist of pictures and text filled with drama and emotion. In one way, I was very interested to read more but then again I was discouraged by the lack of personal writing. Before researching, my thoughts about blogs were extremely different. I expected all blogs to be personal, with real life situations. Unfortunally, my high expectations led me to disappointment. However, I am excited to turn my blog into something that includes personal, yet drama filled excitement to my audience. In order for a blog to catch my attention, I often like to be able to relate to the readings or be intrigued by some sort of drama. Therefore, I would like my blog to resemble the type of blogs that I like to read. My goal as a blogger is to always keep my readers entertained. I will try my hardest to connect with others in my age group. I will write based upon how I feel and hope to receive feedback at anytime. I will write so that I have something to look back on and be proud of.
